New approach for the new year
This year we have decided to change how we are operating this year and forgo the normal league structure and fish a series of one off matches as sweepstakes.
We will be fishing 10 matches throughout the year at £5.00 per match with all stakes being paid out on the day as a 50%/25% split for 1st and 2nd and 25% for the heaviest fish.

Match 12 - Dronsfield Road Fleetwood - 15th December 2019
With the high winds this morning the match that was scheduled to be fished at Cleveleys was moved to Dronsfield Road Fleetwood where we were met by much calmer conditions.
The match was fished from 10:30 to 13:30 (HW 12:56 - 9.4m)
Fishing was quite for the majority of the match with the fish only showing at high water.
The largest fish bonus points went to Ian Hewitt with a Codling of 52cm.
The overall results were:

Which means a narrow victory for Jim winning the league by having the higher total catch points.
The largest fish prizes for the year went to:
Largest Round: B.T.Horrocks - Bass (64cm - 130 pts) - caught at Stannah on 14/07
Largest Flat: I. Hewitt - Plaice (41cm - 36 pts) - caught at Knott End on 26/05

Match 11 - Marine Beach Fleetwood 24th November 2019
An overcast and drizzly morning greeted us for the penultimate match of the year at the Marine Beach in Fleetwood. The match was fished from 8:00 to 11:00 (HW 8:56 8.5m).
Fishing was poor with only 1 fish being caught and the lucky angler was Jim Gross with a 30cm plaice.
